Vintage Thursday - Doily Table

After my mom passed away and my dad moved.  I inherited this table.  It has unique markings on its top as it was used to block and dry doilies into shape. Full view of table.

This is how it looks as I use it today for my sewing table.

    How interesting. I never heard of such a table and I have been around a long time. Probably because I gave up handwork a long time ago. That is a keeper.
