A view closer.
The back..
I used a YLI Confetti Fluorescent variegated thread. The quilting pattern is Field of Flowers by Handi Quilter.
The next baby quilt was all fishes and fun! Visit her blog at Fishing for Compliments.
I used Red Geranium by Quilter's Choice by Golden Threads . The quilting pattern was Curly Cue enlarged to give the feeling of ocean waves.
The third baby quilt has a sports theme. Its adorable for any baby boy.
I used Omni's Barley (thread color) by Superior Threads. The pattern is stars all over by Handi Quilter.
I took Wednesday and Thursday off from the studio and travelled to Peoria, IL, to spend Wednesday
having a cutting day with my "quilty" friends. Wednesday night we enjoyed Bonnie Hunter's trunk trunk show at the Gems of the Prairie meeting.
Thursday, my friend, Cathy Kieser and I took Bonnie's Smith Mountain Morning class.
My other finishes were luggage tags (2) and a cosmetic bag for my friend, Kelly, who is travelling to the Shetland Islands. She raises Shetland Sheep in Wisconsin and is taking the trip of a lifetime with her husband, Mike. Visit her blog at www.okacres.blogspot.com. You will get an education on raising sheep, wool, micron testing, and the many animals at her "fiber farm".
Today, I am linking up with……Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Link a Finish Friday, Freedom Fridays, and Crazy Mom Quilts.
Have a fabulous Friday!
Yours in quilting,
