Saturday, I was able to complete my October blocks for Country Threads 2013 BOM. I love how they turned out. I have been trying to empty my Thimbleberries drawer but I am using whatever scraps work in the blocks. You will notice a mixture of Civil War repro, batiks, Kansas Troubles, etc. In the 12.5" block above, I ran out of background fabric. I decided to make do with the striped, vine fabric in the four rectangles. I like the results. This block had a little challenge to making the corner blocks and would definitely make this block again.
