Bonnie Hunter on the Way

This morning I am loading up the SUV and heading for East Peoria, IL, for a cutting day with my quilting friends, Cathy Kieser-Hostess, Barb Amrien, and Donna Davis.  Cathy and I will be preparing for the Smith Mountain Morning class to be held on Thursday.  After a fun day with the girlfriends, we will head on over to the Gems of the Prairie Meeting for Bonnie Hunter's Trunk Show.  Whoop, Whoop!!!  We have been waiting for this day for about two years.

Here's Bonnie the last time I saw her in person in Ottawa, IL.

These are my selection of fabrics for my Smith Mountain Morning quilt.  These are out of the box for me.  I usually use Civil War Repro fabrics.  Choosing bright rainbow colors for the stars and pinwheels along with blacks and grays for the log cabin blocks.

Have a whooping good Wednesday!

Yours in quilting,
Terry
