Bonnie Challenge & Giveaway 1

I have been waiting to try a giveaway on my blog.  With Bonnie Hunter releasing her first information about Celtic Solstice Mystery and Jo's Country Junction Bonnie Challenge, I thought this would be a good time to give away some fabric.  So after picking up my paint chips at Lowe's and stopping at Susan's Calico Creations, I have some cool fat quarters that I want to giveaway to help someone make Celtic Solstice.  I will choose two fat quarters from the fabric shown to give aw

Today I am at my local guild's Stash Buster Autumn Quiltaway.
So while I'm gone:
  1. Please leave me a comment about your dream of completing Celtic Solstice and if this is your first Bonnie mystery.
  2. Sign up to follow my blog by email or subscription at the bottom of this post. (Signing up on Bloglovin' or another blog digest will not count.)
  3. A random drawing will be held Monday and results posted.  I will try to mail out the fabric right away on Monday, if I can contact you and get your snail mail address.
I will be giving away two fat quarters each Saturday:  Nov. 16th, Nov. 23rd and Nov. 30.  Check back for the rules each Saturday.

Yours in quilting,
Terry

  4. I think this is the first time that I have been first with comments!

I have made 3 of Bonnie's mystery quilts - Carolina Crossroads, Double Delight and Orange Crush. I am hoping to join in the Celtic Solstice and would love to win your fabric!

  5. Fun idea to help us collect fabrics for the Mystery without leaving home. I'd like some of the Blues and Greens, I'm not using the Yellows or the Oranges. This is my 3rd Mystery with Bonnie. Only my Easy Street is FINISHED. I have a Block Party Project I'm trying to finish from her class in Portland last March.

I participated in the Lazy Sunday mystery, but this will be my first Bonnie Hunter online mystery. I'm excited to get started!

  7. This is my third Bonnie Hunter mistery and I can't wait to get started. I am going to do the smaller version this year and I hope to keep up with her each week. I love her patterns and am working on Virginia Bound right now.

  11. Hey, Terry! I've pulled fabric for Celtic Solstice and plan to at least make a small version -- maybe crib size. I will be using red instead of orange because I have a piece of Christmas fabric I'm using for my inspiration. This will be my second mystery. I hope it goes better than Easy Street which will probably remain unfinished.

  12. I'm hoping to make Celtic Solstice! This will be my first Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. I was thinking of making it smaller than either of the two sizes Bonnie is planning to give directions for. I haven't decided if I will make less blocks or smaller sized blocks.

  18. This would not be my first Bonnie mystery as I have enjoyed several of them. I do like the colors this time and would "try" to keep up! I sure watching your blog as you work on it would help keep me motivated.
Bonnie is a favorite of mine.
