I visited Peddler's Way Quilt Shop in Washington today. They are still in need of quilts, pillow cases, and if your a knitter or crochet anything you make would be appreciated. It has been a little warmer the past couple of days, but last week was below freezing and people are still trying to clean up from the tornado. Many people are living in hotels or with families waiting for insurance to settle and trying to find a home to relocate into. The ladies at the shop said people have really appreciated the items that have been sent. The items are being delivered around the areas effected.
Call or email Peddler's Way with your questions. I took in an crocheted afghan today and they were thrilled.
I drove to the other side of town today and just wanted to cry. I was at the other end of Cummings Rd in Washington and saw more severe damage. The path the tornado tore through the town is so wide and long. It is just so hard to fathom the damage done by Mother Nature.
Hope you had a great Monday.
Yours in quilting,
Terry
