Friday Finishes

I have two types of finishes this week.

First, yesterday my husband and I paid off our mortgage.  After 24 1/2 years our home is paid for.
Whooppee!!  We are doing the happy dance.  Jiggity, Jig!!!

Second, I have finished potting flowers.  I have been working on gardening over the past two weeks.  I am so excited that I found this large pot and the kits for my fairy garden at Gordman's.  I bought all my succulents at Hornbaker Gardens.
Its so fun to peek out the backdoor at night and see the lights on the little house.

What do you think my fairy is dreaming of?  Do you think she dreams of fabric and quilts?

Wednesday, I knew the rain was coming after lunch, so I got busy and planted the rest of my pots.

I lightly watered each pot as I got them put in place.

I cleaned up my and went inside to write my blog post.

It just poured outside.  We got 3/4 of an inch in 30 minutes.  Yikes!
Needless to say, Mother Nature watered all my potted plants.

I have a quilt on the longarm and hopefully next week will have quilty finishes.

Yours in quilting,
Terry

    1. Gordman's had a kit which made it easy. One box had the house and one box of accessories. Thanks for stopping by. I hope I can keep the flowers going all summer. Will bring the fairy garden inside this winter.
