Still Retreating Saturday

Yesterday was the second full day of our retreat.  I finished the 11 year old wedding quilt top and I am excited about getting it loaded on the longarm for quilting.  There are 30 signature blocks signed with best wishes from the family and wedding guests.

Below, Barb is laying out her Bonnie Hunter's Majestic Mountains' quilt that is under the free patterns tab on Bonnie's blog.  Barb was running out of fabric and being creative with the borders.

Tah dah, its done.  Whoop, Whoop for another UFO completed.

Yes, we have a lot of fun at our retreats.  Here's Karen, Sue-Sue and Kathy showing off, Kathy's (in the burgundy) chain piecing.  In the background you can see the Legacy Sampler she is working on.

Well its time to hop in the shower, eat some breakfast and head back to the church for another day of retreating.  I hope you have a super sewing Saturday.

Yours in quilting,
Terry
