Friday Finish - Washington Quilt and Memory Quilts

We rang in the New Year at our neighbor's house with a few friends.  Prime rib with all the trimmings were part of the feast.  Then we bowled using the Xbox.   I am not sure who was the biggest kid.  Lots of laughs and cheering by everyone.  We were home before midnight and watched TV until 2014 arrived quietly.  I did check a few blogs while waiting and found that Bonnie Hunter revealed her mystery quilt's finished picture at midnight east coast time.  I love it.  It will take sometime for me to finish mine, but I will keep plugging away at it.

Today I finished quilting the fourth memory quilt.  I had four of these quilts to quilt for my neighbor.  The four quilts will go to the grandsons of the gentleman who passed away. Now I have four quilts to quilt that will go to each daughter.

I used Navy Omni thread and the quilting pattern is Ocean Froth from Anne Bright.com.

Here is the quilt I was sent by Donna Jez in Hayward, WI.  It is totally done. I spent time sitting with a relative in the emergency room the other night and I finished sewing down the binding.
It really is a beauty.

The back is as cute as the front.  Used YLI Confetti Pastel thread and Flutterby pattern by Handi Quilter.  Thanks Donna Jez.  I am still accepting quilts that anyone wants to donate to Washington Tornado survivors.  I will quilt them for free and deliver them to the Peddler's Way Quilt  Shop in Washington, IL.

I have linked up with the following blogs today:  Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Freedom Fridays, Link a Finish, and Crazy Mom Quilts.

Stay warm and have a great weekend.

Yours in quilting,
Terry
